Gina’s international educational and professional experience enables her to thoughtfully counsel clients in a broad range of transactional and intellectual property matters, including license and research and collaboration agreements with industry and academic institutions, research collaborations with industry and academic institutions, biologics and small molecule manufacturing and supply chain agreements, software and related technology agreements, and all aspects of contracting in support of global clinical trials. Her industry experience also grounds her in managing client expectations and in identifying risks.

  • Negotiate supply and license agreements, manufacturing agreements and other GMP services agreements, including for packaging and labeling, warehousing, and distribution services, to support clients’ supply chain
  • Support Hutchison Medipharma Ltd. on various single-center and multi-center US and ex-US clinical trials, including a phase 3 clinical trial involving approximately 520 subjects across sites located in North America, Europe, and Asia
  • Support multiple clinical trials sponsored by Zenas Biopharma (USA) LLC, including multinational phase 3 trials involving sites in North America, South America, Europe and Asia
  • Negotiate multiple evaluation and research and collaboration agreements to support development and validation of a client’s diagnostic device

Gina is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Previously, she was a member of the Securities Law section of the Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia branch where she served as treasurer and secretary (2012-2013) and vice-chair (2013-2014).


While in law school, Gina was active in the University of British Columbia Law Students Legal Advice Program, volunteering at the Chinatown clinic and acting as clinic head at the East Burnaby clinic. She also volunteered at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
