Alex Cruz Rodriguez brings a unique blend of experience from leading international law firms, federal regulators and dynamic positions in federal courts and a VC-backed startup company.

Alex’s legal proficiency is complemented by a broad perspective, informed in part by his international experience and linguistic skills, allowing him to address complex legal challenges with a holistic approach.

Alex specializes in research & development contracting for life sciences clients including complex services, confidentiality, and consulting agreements. His role involves not only contract negotiation and drafting but also counseling clients on risk management.

During law school, Alex was a Managing Editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine, one of the country’s leading health law journals. Alex is a member of the firm’s Philanthropy Committee.

Alex is certified as an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).

Alex is a member of the New York City Bar Association and OUTbio of Greater New York. Alex’s community involvement spans contributions in family law and immigration with Catholic Charities and public assistance work at the African Services Committee. Previously, Alex volunteered at Asian Americans Advancing Justice and the Latin American Association in Atlanta in citizenship workshops and benefit-related matters. During law school, Alex served as Vice President of Professional Development of Boston University’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. He was member of the Latin American Law Student Association, the Black Law Student Association, and OutLaw.
